In keeping with Bank of America’s commitment to Community Development, the Food Drive Thailand project aims to ensure every child has the opportunity to receive a healthy meal at least once each day. The Human Development Foundation – Mercy Centre runs 17 kindergarten schools in the poorest slums of Bangkok. With nearly 1,000 children enrolled, providing a well-balanced, nutritious lunch meal to every child every day is very challenging.
Young children such as those attending the Mercy Centre kindergartens, ages 3-6, require a well-balanced meal every day to ensure their proper physical and mental growth. These children receive minimal food at home, they rely on the Mercy Centre kindergarten lunches to support their growth and development.
Your donations are critical in allowing us to continue to support the poorest and most forgotten children in Thailand; those growing up in the slums of Bangkok. Your kindness and generosity ensures these children will grow, learn, and move beyond their lives of poverty to experience all the joys of life!
The E-donation system is a system developed by the Revenue Department giving information on donations and as well facilitate donors to get tax deduction without the need to bring evidence of the donation as proof to the Revenue Department.
